What do you price off of?
Our prices (for a single hard drive) begin at $299.00, the price then scales according the amount of time we need to invest with the drive which is usually calculated by the severity. Keep in mind, some mild to mediocre failures CAN BE time consuming and are priced similarly to a failure with a high severity level, in this scenario we call the process a tedious recovery.
How does my data get returned to me?
Once the extraction of the data and the recovery is complete, the amount of data recovered is determined. If the amount is less than 10 GB of data, then it will be archived and burned to DVD for no charge. In the event the amount of data is above 10 GB then you can purchase a hard drive through us, or you can provide one of your own through a retail store. The drive we would require if you provided one of your own is an external USB plug' n 'play drive that can hold the amount of data determined
What if the data is not recovered, do I still have to pay?
In the unlikely event the data is unrecoverable or you aren't satisfied with the data we are able to recover then you do not pay for the data recovery. Our diagnostics will also conclude whether the recovery will need any type of parts, or custom programming and in the event your recovery does, there may be a small down payment. This payment is non-refundable, although it is deducted from the total cost of your recovery when you are satisfied.
How fast can you turn my data around, and back into my hands?
We have a total of 8 services ranging from Standard to Specialized Raid Emergency. The standard service is our slowest, (2-3 week turnaround time for the recovery process) although the diagnostics are free and provided within 24 to 48 hours. If at the time you are informed of the price and diagnostics you decide to proceed with the recovery the 2-3 week turn around come into effect. The other 7 services have the same principle (which is send drive in, diagnostics are complete, you give go! recovery process begins, data verification (FDV), final payment, shipping back) but have up-front charges, the higher you go up the ladder the faster each of these principle steps will go.
How do I verify the data you recovered is in fact mine?
Once the data is extracted, we put together our File Directory Viewer [FDV] in order to compile an archived viewer of your hard drives original directory. This FDV file is sent to you when the recovery process has been concluded. It's a simple to use program that will allow you to explore the directories of your original drive viewing your data. The data will not be accessible but you will see the file names, size, and the date the file was last modified. You can rest assured that the data you see on the FDV is recovered and its integrity and quality is intact.

How to predict hard drive data loss? What to do when the hard drive makes strange noises?
When your hard drive is giving off any physically audible sounds, this is a serious indicator of a present or future complication. Hard drives should not give off any noise louder than a small fan or spinning noise. These indicators are tell tale signs of what could be a serious failure and we recommend disconnecting or powering off the drive instantly and consider sending the drive into our facilities so we may assess your drive professionally, correctly, and as fast as you need us to! How will I get recovered data back?
You can chose one of the method you prefer, to make you comfortable you can chose one of the option:

- new hard drive

- access to fast and secure FTP transfer
What is clean room?
Clean room is a work area in which the air quality, temperature and humidity are highly regulated in order to protect sensitive equipment from contamination. The air in a clean room is repeatedly filtered to remove dust particles and other impurities that can damage critical parts of hard drive like electronic components.
How can I protect my data in the future?
